I was born and raised in southern Indiana. As I've said on the home page, I am self-taught with no real training except for a couple of projects in high school art class.  It's hard to speak on my art, because I don't really plan anything out beforehand. I usually start with a circle, and the rest of the piece just kind of forms on the page or canvas. It's probably closer to trimming a Bonzi tree, if I'm being honest. I help form the art, but a lot of it, is out of my control. Anyway, it's really easy to sound pretentious, when talking about art. So allow me to say thank you, and have a good day.
